Plantación Del Eden: We received our first beans!

We could not have thought about it several years ago. But it would be the first time that we organized a transportation direct from a plantation to our “chocolaterie”!
We asked a dedicated freight forwarder to take care of it. We had to support with administration and certification. Regulation for organic products has just changed. Indeed our organic shipment could not be mixed with a conventional shipment. Even upon its arrival in the Port of Le Havre, the shipment would have to be isolated in a special warehouse for organic products in order to control it again.
This would take 8 weeks…
